ABOUT US 

Founded in 2009 as Desire To Dance, D2D Academy began its journey in local village halls across Surrey, including Rusper, Newdigate, Horley, Charlwood, and Brockham. What started as a small community project quickly grew into a thriving dance family.

In 2016, we proudly opened our very own mirrored studio in the heart of the Surrey Hills. This beautiful space has since become the home of our weekly classes, rehearsals, and performances.

Today, D2D Academy is home to over 180 students, from toddlers taking their very first steps in dance to adults refining their technique. Under the guidance of our fully qualified IDTA teachers, we’ve grown into both a performance-based and competitive dance school, with our students regularly showcasing their talent on stage and at competitions.

In 2021, we rebranded as D2D Academy, welcoming new teachers and expanding our range of dance styles to offer even more opportunities for creativity, expression, and growth.

Over the past 14+ years, we’ve come a long way but our mission remains the same: to share our love and passion for dance with our community. We are excited for the future and look forward to welcoming you into the D2D family!
